I tried to downgrade it multiple times, the first time I managed to downgrade it to v1.0.8.0 and it worked but I was unable to save my game because of GFWL issues were still present. Steps: 1- Open it and locate the game. 2- Then Set date to anything before 30th may. 3- Tick the check boxes for "move time forward in real time" and "immediate mode". 4- Then Create the Shortcut. 5- Run with administrator for the first time. 6- Enjoy the game :) This can be easily fixed by: Remove GFWL from PC -> Restart -> Download the latest version of GFWL -> install it -> Restart. If you want to play the game smoothly, I suggest you keep the current system, it will be more compatible with the game. So, I had the game installed before the big update, and I had also installed some mods, including manual texture swapping trough some tools. It took me a whole day to get those textures, but it was really worth it. Despite having beat the game I always come back to appreciate it for what it is.
